NeuroNest Studio

About the studio

NeuroNest Studio is the art practice of Niki Bonfield, working from Stirling in the Adelaide Hills.

I create art for neurodivergent nervous systems, because I am one. Some days we need softness. Some days we need bold. Most of this work sits gently in between.

The paintings are built in layers: texture, gold leaf, drips, and often a very small figure standing under something much larger than themselves. The Sensory Collection came from the same place, small clay objects shaped slowly by hand, made to be held rather than looked at.

Alongside the studio I work as a counsellor and art therapist. If that is what brought you here, you can find that practice at nikibonfieldcounselling.com.
